Schedule of Events

Join us for a day of clay filled adventure at the Pottery Fair! Throughout the day, talented ceramic artists will be doing live wheel throwing and handbuilding demonstrations, offering a behind the scenes look at their creative process. Discover new techniques, pick up tips and tricks, and get inspired as you explore the magic of making with clay.

Tent #29

10am-11am: Rehn & Kevin Masi of RNK Ceramics began their pottery careers learning Korean style pottery from Sang Joon Park. They will demonstrate throwing a moon jar and a large form bowl.


11am-12pm: Moses Star, owner of Off Center Ceramics, will be throwing big!


12-1pm: Lauren Babitz, founder of Queer Pottery NYC, will be demonstrating The Leather Technique: An Ancient Throwing Process to Center Clay in 2 Minutes


1-2pm: Helen Gilchrist of Clayworks on Colombia, will be wheel throwing.


2-3pm:  Amy Lipman of Small Fry Ceramics and Blue Room Pottery Studio will be throwing small on mini wheels provided by Small Ceramics. Visitors are welcome to participate.


2-3pm: Felicia Gordon from Newcomb Studios will be wheel throwing .


3-4pm: Felicia Gordon from Newcomb Studios will be trimming with Wallace Pottery’s The Footer chuck system. 


4pm: Raffle drawing

All Day! Yaro Studios will be giving interactive hand building demos.

Mini Wheel Demo: Try throwing tiny pots on mini pottery wheels

Handbuilding Activity: Visitors can create small clay forms like mini planters, mushrooms, animals, and other playful sculptural pieces while learning basic handbuilding techniques.
